By accessing or using AutoIntel Pro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
AutoIntel Pro is a free automotive diagnostic research tool. You provide vehicle information, fault codes, and symptom descriptions, and the Service returns research-based diagnostic information including probable causes, diagnostic procedures, and component information.
AI-Generated Content
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. AutoIntel Pro does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any diagnostic output. Always verify diagnostic conclusions with a licensed technician before performing repairs.
Not Professional Advice
Nothing on this Service constitutes professional automotive, mechanical, or safety advice. The Service is an informational research tool only. Use of this Service does not create any professional relationship between you and AutoIntel Pro or its operators.

User-Submitted Fixes & Community Content
The Service lets you optionally report "what the fix ended up being" after a diagnosis. If you submit a fix, repair note, comment, or other content ("User Content"), the following terms apply:
- License you grant us. You grant AutoIntel Pro a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable license to store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your User Content — including showing it to other users as part of the community knowledge base — in any media now known or later developed.
- Your warranties. You represent that the User Content is your own original contribution based on your own experience, that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe any copyright, contain confidential or proprietary repair data (e.g., paid service-manual text, ALLDATA/Mitchell/Identifix/iATN content), or include personal information about yourself or anyone else (names, VINs, license plates, addresses, contact details).
- Moderation. All submissions are reviewed before they may appear publicly. We may edit, refuse, remove, or decline to publish any User Content at our sole discretion, for any reason, without notice. Submission does not guarantee publication.
- No compensation. User Content is submitted voluntarily and you are not entitled to payment for it.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AutoIntel Pro and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Use of or reliance on any diagnostic information provided by the Service
- Vehicle damage, personal injury, or property damage resulting from repairs performed based on Service output
- Service interruptions, errors, or inaccuracies
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls through automated means
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service to generate content unrelated to automotive diagnosis
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying AI prompts or system instructions
Rate Limits
The Service enforces usage rate limits to ensure fair access for all users. Exceeding these limits will result in temporary access restrictions. Rate limits are subject to change without notice.
Availability
We make no guarantee of uptime or continuous availability. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
Intellectual Property
The AutoIntel Pro application, including its design, source code, and user interface, is the property of Ian Littlefield. Diagnostic results generated by the Service may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use or redistribution of Service outputs requires prior written permission.
Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
